THE WAYMORES
May
29
to May 30

THE WAYMORES

Straight out of Atlanta, GA, THE WAYMORES are the real-deal honky-tonk duo keeping country music raw, road-worn, and rooted in truth. Fronted by husband-and-wife team Kira Annalise and Willie Heath Neal, the pair mix unique vocal stylings, unvarnished storytelling, and a wry sense of humor into a sound that’s equal parts classic country grit and modern Americana soul.

Since hitting the road together in 2018, The Waymores have toured relentlessly across the U.S., U.K., and Europe, sharing stages with Dale Watson, Wayne Hancock, Kelley Willis, Summer Dean, and Scott H. Biram. Their high-energy live shows, equal parts heartbreak, honky-tonk, and banter, have earned them a devoted following on both sides of the Atlantic.

Their third studio album, Greener Pastures (2023), was produced by legendary hitmaker Shel Talmy (The Kinks, The Who, David Bowie) and drew critical acclaim, with singles spending multiple weeks on the Alt-Country Specialty Chart, breaking into the Top 10 alongside names like Tyler Childers, Colter Wall, and Lucinda Williams.

Now, with their fourth album The Knot set for release in February 2026, The Waymores are doubling down on what they do best: songs about love, heartache, and the highway. Recorded in Nashville with rising producer Mose Wilson (Hannah Juanita, Eliza Thorn, Sweet Megg), The Knot promises a mix of wit, grit, and unflinching honesty, anchored by the couple’s lived-in chemistry.

Rolling Stone praised the album, saying “‘The Knot’ is tailor-made for the ballroom and evokes, the chemistry of Johnny Cash and June Carter…,” while No Depression noted, “with The Knot, the Waymore double down on their allegiance to the sounds and themes of golden age in Nashville.”

Whether they’re tipping their hats to tradition or twisting it with a modern grin, The Waymores keep one boot in the past and one on the gas. For them, country music isn’t about costumes or trends, it’s about stories worth telling, songs worth singing, and the miles between every honky-tonk along the way.

SAM MORROW w/ WESTTOWN ROAD

SAM MORROW spent years knocking on doors that wouldn't budge, walking through ones that led nowhere, and closing others behind him. one. A cross-country move, change of perspective, and fresh outlook on life were catalysts that also steered Morrow to cross the threshold on a new sound. Make no mistake, that’s exactly what his new record, “Southern Boogie” represents—raw, Texas-bred southern rock that sounds exactly like what it is: Sam Morrow, confidently evolving. His earlier albums—”Concrete & Mud”, “Gettin' By On Gettin' Down”, and “On The Ride Here”—earned praise from NPR and Rolling Stone for their swampy blend of country funk, and roadhouse blues. And while those records were a huge part of his life, they also lined up to a time and place that he was leaving behind. Recorded mostly live, in Austin, with producer Jonathan Tyler, the sessions were stripped-down and analog: two guitars, bass, keys, drums. All tube amps. No click track. No safety net. "Jonathan got it before I even explained it," Morrow says. "We just wanted it to sound gritty and raw. Like a band in a room, because that's what it is." The result is unapologetically guitar driven. Straight-ahead southern rock with a Texas backbone—ZZ Top's grit and groove without trying to sound like anyone but himself. "I just want people to listen to this and have a good time," Morrow says. "Don't take shit too seriously. That's kind of my mantra." After years of searching, Sam Morrow quit looking for approval. “Southern Boogie” is what's on the other side—loud, honest, and exactly where he is supposed to be

JOHNNY MULLENAX

JOHNNY MULLENAX, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, grew up in a musical family and started playing the guitar at age 5. In his teens, he followed his family to the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas where he showed up with just a guitar and slept in a standup base case. At 18, he used a friend’s ID to get into a club where he was part of a live hip hop band backing rappers. According to Johnny, “Life is too short to play one style of music, and if you have an opportunity to try something different then you should give it a shot.”

Claiming wide-ranging influences from AC/DC and The Ramones to John Coltrane and Parliament, Johnny calls his genre bending sound a funky country bluegrass good time for working folks.

SETH KESSEL

Songwriter/guitarist SETH KESSEL puts a modern spin on his penchant for classic rock ‘n roll through bridging the classic and the contemporary. While having a widespread professional music career in various bands and as a producer/studio engineer with notable success, his focus lies in the interpretation of mid-century American roots music, particularly 1950’s rock ‘n’ roll, classic country, and early jazz. His richly toned voice, virtuosic guitar playing and powerful songwriting make him a triple threat. His songwriting runs the gamut from clever and witty lyrics to hardship.

Outlaw Thursdays - JACK ROMANO & the Romanaires

Nationally-traveled artist JACK ROMANO is a growing force in the new wave of authentic American roots music. With an expressive baritone voice, timeless approach, and live showmanship—either solo or with his backing band The Romanaires—Romano sets himself apart with eternal songwriting.

The origins of Romano’s sound come from a range of American styles. Born and raised in the forgotten New Jersey highlands, he draws influence from ‘50s rock ‘n’ roll, doo wop, soul, country, and folk—music that was either listened to in his childhood home or he would have heard on 101.1 CBS FM (back when it was a true Oldies radio station).

His first original single “Haunted Man”, released in 2024, resonated with classic country music listeners, earning him a reputation as a for the 21st century.

Outlaw Thursdays - RAMONA & The Holy Smokes

Based in Central Virginia and with family roots in South Texas, RAMONA & THE HOLY SMOKES represent a new generation of honky tonk music. With powerful female vocals that cover an emotional range from determined to comic to vulnerable and a talented backing band steeped in classic country and western styles of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, the band exhibits a “clarity and sincerity that bring Patsy Cline to mind” (Nashville Scene, 2025). Fronted by Ramona Martinez, whose songwriting has earned her recognition from Wide Open Country as one of the "15 Latino Artists Shaping Country Music," this Charlottesville, Virginia-based band is rooted in the traditional sounds of country music but unafraid of pushing boundaries and highlighting the connections across border cultures. They have appeared at several Americana festivals including Red Wing Roots (2024), Rooster Walk (2025), Bristol Rhythm & Roots (2025), and has opened for touring artists like Margo Cilker, Colby Acuff, Willi Carlisle, Redd Volkaert, Joshua Hedley, Donna the Buffalo, and Kashus Culpepper. Their self-produced debut album, Ramona and the Holy Smokes, a collection of original songs about heartache and resiliency, was released on September 26, 2025.
